Easily defined: What feels good to your and your family is your “Comfort Level” and Hartco Mechanical Company’s mission.
It’s best to schedule your Spring Check & Service at 2 to 3 months in advance when Spring is on its way. Before the heat arrives, it’s a good idea to have your air conditioner checked and serviced so you’re ready for summer.
Hartco Mechanical Company offers an Early Bird Special — $85.00 for one unit, $42.50 for each additional system totaling FOUR units. After 4 units, hourly rates apply at $120 per hour in 15-minute increments. Mid-March through May’s end is the right time for your Summer Check & Service Call. After May 29th our regular rates apply.
Spring Checks & Service Calls need to be performed when the temperature is over 60 degrees. If Hartco Mechanical must postpone, or reschedule your appointment due to the weather when you were diligent to schedule early, we will honor the Early Bird Special.
We go through the system, check how it’s operating, clean the important parts, and look for anything that’s worn out or getting ready to cause trouble. Regular maintenance helps your equipment run more efficiently and can help it last longer.
Over time, dust, dirt, moisture, and debris build up inside your system. Left untreated, these can reduce efficiency, increase energy costs, and shorten the life of important components like the evaporator and condenser coils. Preventative maintenance helps keep your system operating reliably year after year.
We recommend servicing your air conditioning system every Spring and your heating system every Fall. Regular seasonal maintenance helps keep your equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Early Bird Specials,
call ONE MONTH in advance:
Spring A/C Checks & Service, March 15th to May 29th.
Fall Heater Tune-Ups, October 1st to December 15th.
Air conditioning systems should be serviced when outdoor temperatures are at least 60°F for accurate testing. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll simply reschedule your appointment and honor the seasonal maintenance pricing if you booked during the promotion.
After more than 45 years of servicing virtually every major HVAC brand, we’ve found Carrier to be the most dependable overall.
No HVAC system is perfect, and every brand will eventually require maintenance or repairs. We recommend Carrier because of its long-term performance, reliability, and value—not because it’s the cheapest option.
No. Carrier isn’t the lowest-priced equipment on the market, but we believe it’s one of the best long-term investments you can make for your home. We focus on quality equipment, professional installation, and standing behind our work.
We’re committed to providing honest recommendations, quality workmanship, fair pricing, and dependable service. We may not always be the cheapest—but we strive to deliver the best value through professional installation and long-term customer support.

Yes. We offer and install indoor air quality products, including air purifiers and other filtration solutions to help improve your home’s indoor air.
Your system’s filters are for the protection of your system, not for air purification though it can slightly help. For cleaner air we recommend Energy Star-rated, air filtration systems.
No. Closing supply vents doesn’t typically save energy. In fact, it can make your HVAC system work harder, increase duct leakage, and shorten the life of your equipment. It’s best to keep supply registers open throughout your home and office. Also, check to see that your registers are not blocked by furniture or rugs.
Check your filter regularly and replace it whenever it becomes dirty. A clean filter helps your HVAC system operate more efficiently and protects the equipment from unnecessary wear.
